Roles and responsibilities of DACO:

• Looking after the Cultural matter of Capital Region.
• Liaise the Cultural programme of State Level function between DC Capital and Directorate of Art & Culture.
• Looking after the Priest Affairs of Capital Region.
• Monitors the construction of community hall in Itanagar Capital Region.
• Look after the Azadi ka Amrut Mahatsav and organize all faith prayer during walkton and cyclothon in Itanagar.
• Organizing of cultural programme during all national and state days in Itanagar.
• Reception and ushering of VIP and VVIP during their visit at Itanagar and in other important National days like Independence Day, Republic Day and Statehood Day in Indra Gandhi Park, Itanagar.
