Roles and responsibilities of District Medical Officer, Capital
- To functionalize all health facilities under ICC.
- Rationalize posting on health workers at all health facilities.
- To Supervise and Monitoring of all program activities under NHM & vertical programmeswhich are looking after by respective DPO’s like DRCHO, DSO, DLO, DVBDCPO, DTO, T.B, Blindness, AIDS Control Society, Tabaco &DANOetc.
- To reduce infant mortality and maternal mortality rate and 100% implementation of program activities.
- 100% coveraged in Covid vaccination, routine immunization,MissionIndradhanush and implementation of Pulse polio etc.
- To coordinate all national program with DC and client HODs.
- To coordinate implementation and accredited National Programme with all private hospital on ICC.

- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DISTRICT ASHA NODAL OFFICER (ITANAGAR CAPITAL COMPLEX).
- To coordinate all ASHA activities in the district and to provide supportive supervision to block functionaries.
- Alongwith ASHA activities DANO is involved to provide cost effective and equitable AYUSH health care in the capital complex by proposing upgrading of AYUSH dispensary and subcentre into AYUSH health and wellness centre.
- To coordinate for monthly meeting at UPHC’s to discuss and sort out various issues of ASHA relating to incentive payment, checking of ASHA dairy and also undertake periodic review meeting for ASHA programme and community processes.
- Undertake frequent field visit for supportive supervision to the activities related to community processes implementation and submit all the reports related to ASHA activities to the state.
- Beside this DANO has to supervise all AYUSH OPD’s , herbal gardens and AYUSH outreached activities of capital complex and submit the reports to DHS/DDHS(AYUSH),GoAP.

District RCH Officer is the Chief Executive Officer of the Executive committee of the District Health Society of the District.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- DISTRICT SURVEILLANCE OFFICER, ICC : ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
IDSP : Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme
- Real time information on human, and physical assets.
- Highlight the areas of strength and vulnerability.
- Awareness of health information systems and epidemiological surveillance networks.
Roles &Responsibilities :
- Detect early warning signals of impending outbreaks and help initiate an effective response in a timely manner.
- Provide essential data to monitor progress of on-going disease control program and help allocate health resources more efficiently.
- Integrates both public and private sector by involving the private participation.
- Integrates surveillance of communicable and non-communicable diseases
- Impart Hands on training to Doctors, HWO & ANM on IHIP & data handling and Supervisory visits to all Health Facilities in every 6 (Six) months or whenever necessary.
- Weekly review meetings with DMO, DRCHO, Epidemiologist, DEO.
- KEY ACTIVITIES OF DISTRICT TOBACCO CONTROL PROGRAMME :
- Training of Key stakeholders: health and social workers, NGOs, school teachers, enforcement officers etc.
- Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities.
- Monitoring tobacco control laws.
- Setting-up and strengthening of cessation facilities including provision of pharmacological treatment facilities at the district level.
- Co-ordination with Panchayati Raj Institutions for inculcating concept of tobacco control at the grassroots.
- Organising outreach activities in collaboration with different departments and programmes.
- Provision for Pharmacological Treatment of tobacco dependence.
- Developing awareness campaigns using the local media, cable channels etc.
- Role and Responsibilities of the District TB Officer cum DACO
- Responsible for smooth implementation of the NTEP and for achieving the
Programme objectives in the district.
- Planning and execution of the District Annual Action Plan.
- Ensure the identification of designated microscopy centers, DOT providers and staff responsible for DOTS.
- Arranging, maintaining and distributing supplies (drugs, laboratory reagents, sputum containers, forms, etc.) and equipment.
- Organize training of staff of the TUs and all medical and paramedical staff of the peripheral health institutions, HWCs, CHOs etc.
- Supervise and support the TUs (sub-district level), with the help of the Medical Officer and other DTC staff and ensure all TUs, CHCs, Block PHCs in the area are visited at least once every quarter.
- Compile and analyze quarterly programme performance reports of the district, and send them to the State and National levels within the dates prescribed.
- Conduct review meetings with the MOTC, STS and STLS on at least a monthly
- Establish linkages with Medical Colleges, private practitioners, non-governmental organizations and community leaders.
- Ensure smooth coordination between NTEP and ICTC especially in states implementing the TB-HIV coordination plan.
- Organize IEC activities within his district.
- Keep the CMO/DMO and the DM (Chairman DHS(NTEP)) informed on the progress of NTEP activities especially in respect of achievement of the laid down performance indicators.
- Function as member secretary of the District Health Society (NTEP) & District Co-morbidity or its equivalent and convene its meetings every quarter for smooth functioning of the programme in the district.
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate financial records and submit quarterly and

- Undertake all programme related activities as directed from the state and CTDfrom time to time.
- Monitoring & Supervision of Nodal DRTB ward, its maintenance, reports and Returns of Nodal DRTB Site.
